How it works

When an alarm is triggered, every second counts. With multiple fully redundant Customer Monitoring Centers, you can count on us to deliver a fast response to you and the police.

Step 1. Alarm Triggered

When the alarm is triggered at your home, a signal immediately alerts one of our state-of-the-art Customer Monitoring Centers and Alarm.com sends you an Email of the alarm

Step 2. Brinks Home Security Response

When the alarm signal is received, a trained Brinks Home Security Professional is there to respond immediately.

Step 3. Call from an Brinks Home Security Representative

Our Brinks Home Security professional will contact you to confirm whether you are okay or in need of assistance.

Step 4. Taking Action

If you are in need of assistance, the Brinks Home Security Representative will contact the police, fire department or other emergency personnel to request dispatch to your home immediately.

Other systems are available; different options like electronic key, temperature sensors, and light sensors can be purchased.

Video Monitoring and Services, CCTV, Card Access, IP Monitoring are also options, as well as monitoring off site, personal alerts, bio-metrics, specialized video surveillance, infant monitoring, CO2 detection, and fire and smoke detection.

Priority 1 Protection monthly costs are not available on the website.  Given that Priority 1 Protection has a wide variety of components that can be purchased in a custom security system.
